GAIA 2030 is the Foundation for Environmental Education’s 10 year strategic plan. It will be guiding the actions and principles of the organization and its programs to maximize social and environmental impact over the next decade.

Here you will find materials to help you understand and implement the GAIA 2030 strategy. While thematically the focus is on the environment, organizationally the focus is on communication. Communication of individual stories and of people connecting with their natural environment are powerful tools in behavior change and environmental education. The Blue Flag Program already shares experiences through its best practice competition and documents. 

Blue Flag USA will be supporting FEE and International Blue Flag staff by promoting and participating in GAIA campaigns. Included below are the GAIA documents and icons used for consistent branding of strategic plan initiatives. This page will be updated as campaigns and participation instructions are released. Candidates and Awardees are reminded they must get all branded merchandise, messaging, and promotions approved by staff before publication. Staff will provide any instructions, mocks, or templates for use as they become available.
