2025 Blue Flag USA in Review

The City of Boca Raton's Spanish River Beach Park receiving its first Blue Flag.

The Blue Flag USA Program had another record setting year. We have enjoyed working on several projects this year: 

 

Celebrated our Sites: 

  • Delray Beach was recognized by International for Best Management Practices
  • City of Boca Raton’s Spanish River Beach Park received first award

 

Increased Environmental Awareness and Action: 

  • Held 20 Educational Activities at sites
  • Presented Blue Flag to over 850 interested parties 

 

Amplified Coastal Resources: 

  • Supported International Global Action Days
  • Participated in #CoastsWeek2025
  • Shared tips and tricks for environmental awareness days
  • Participated in ASBPA’s National Beach Sweep
